Itinerary

Day 1: The Cathedral - Larco Herrera Museum

Welcome to Peru

Upon arrival in Lima .we'll provide assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Experience the artistic traditions and contemporary lives of its residents.
Guided tour to the imposing Cathedral, continue to the Larco Herrera museum housed in a18th century colonial mansion that holds 50.000 ceramic pots including the well-known pre Colombian erotic pieces, this is one of the largest ceramic collections anywhere.

Dinner at Bohemia a unique and comfortable restaurant where Creole cooking is the house specialty, this restaurant offers a buffet dinner with live show that mixes the main dances from the different regions of Peru.

Day 2: Pisac - Ollantaytambo

Breakfast at the hotel.

We'll transfer you from the hotel to the airport.

Cusco - Lima

We provide assistance at the airport upon arrival .Continue to the sacred valley of the Incas located at an altitude lower than Cusco city; an area with a nice landscape; visit the colourful market of Pisac .After lunch visit the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo and a typical house of the area to see how local people live.

Day 3: Machupiccchu

Breakfast at the hotel

We will take you to board your train to Machupicchu .Upon arrival at Aguas calientes you´ll take a 25 –minutes coach ride to the lost city of the Incas .you will have a guided tour of the marvelous citadel.

Stay overnight at Sumaq hotel*****.

Day 4: Machupicchu

Breakfast at the Hotel

Early wake up to see the sunrise over Machupicchu ,this a once in a life time experience ,for hiking enthusiast we suggest a climb to the peak of Huayna picchu .In the afternoon return to Cusco.

Day 5: Sun Temple - The Cathedral – Sacayhuaman – Qenqo - Show of Dances

Breakfast at the hotel

Tour of the city ,starting at the temple of the sun devoted to the worship of the sun ; continue to the Cathedral an interesting colonial building , then proceed to Sacsayhuaman an impressive Inca site, also enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the old city.

Continue to Qenqo an interesting Inca sanctuary.

Day 6: Puerto Maldonado

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer and assistance at the airport, pick up at Puerto Maldonado, depending on when you arrive there may be time to take a guided tour of the city; cross the Madre de Dios river to the lodge and enjoy the view of the nature.

Overnight at Bello Horizonte lodge.

Day 7: Cobocoyo Creek

Breakfast at the lodge

Visit Cobocoyo creek, enjoy and adventure in the dense rainforest taking a boat along the creek and explore the ecological trails (trees, orchids, insects, butterflies, parrots and macaws).

After dinner we will sit around a bonfire and listen the traditional Amazonian tales called Pasos del Chulla Chaqui.

Day 8: Lake Sandoval - Tancaya Reserve

Early wake up to see the birds of the area.

Option 1 Visit the Lake Sandoval and discover the diverse fauna of the area (giant river otters, monkeys, hoatzins and a variety of many birds and butterflies)

Option 2 Visit the Tancaya reserve for a canopy walking, this reserve is involved in the conservation of different species such as parrots, macaws, jaguars, monkeys, tapirs and many others

After lunch return to the lodge.

Transfer to the airport, after arrival at Lima, assistance on your departure flight to your country.
